Winners will be determined by a panel of 62 influential artist and industry judges including; Tom Waits, Suzanne Vega, Aimee Mann, Adam Duritz (Counting Crows), and Ozzy Osbourne. The Devics beautiful cover version of The Cure's "Catch" is being featured on the exclusive "Home House 2" compilation CD alongside other artists such as Greg Laswell, and Jamie Cullum. Home House is a unique members-only club in London with Yoko Ono, Annie Lennox, Boy George, and Aston Martin among its members. The CD is available exclusively to Home House members.

AM's brilliant cover of Simple Minds classic "Don't You (Forget About Me)" is featured in the Will Gluck film Easy A. The film stars Emma Stone, Penn Badgley, Amanda Bynes, Thomas Haden Church, Patricia Clarkson, Cam Gigandet, Lisa Kudrow, Malcolm MacDowell, Aly Michalka and Stanley Tucci. The song is also being featured in the motion picture soundtrack album. AM originally covered the track for our 80's compilation "High School Reunion - a tribute to those great 80's films!". Matthew Sweet, Frank Black, Kristin Hersh, Lori McKenna, and The Dresden Dolls also covered tracks for the project.

John P. Strohm's fantastic Pixies cover "Where Is My Mind?" is being featured in the upcoming motion picture "Shortcut To Hollywood" which tells the incredible story of three friends who make the film of their life to achieve immortal fame. However, there`s a price to pay: Only those who die young stay in our hearts forever. "Shortcut To Hollywood" will be released worldwide in 2009. "Where Is My Mind" was a selected track from our 2007 Pixies tribute "Dig For Fire".

ATOMIC HEP CATS IN PROMOTIONAL TRAILER!!!
American Laundromat places the Atomic Hep Cats surf-punk masterpiece "La Cervezas Y Las Pistolas" in the promotional trailer for "Waldo's Hawaiian Holiday". The graphic novel is the official sequel to Alex Cox's 1984 cult film "Repo Man". The script was written by Alex Cox himself and is being published worldwide in 2008 by Gestalt Comics.
